ERA BC COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD

ERA BC has established The Community Service Award to recognize those individuals who have enhanced the quality of life in their communities through their extraordinary work within the field of violence against women in relationships.

K. Louise Vincent, Program Manager at Haven Society in Nanaimo will be our first recipient of this award for her twenty five years of excellence in violence prevention, her adherence to principles and practises of non-violence, community change, social justice and non-binary ethics. K. Louise has contributed greatly to the field of non-violence through her clinical practice, published reference works, poetry and prose and through an expansion and redefining of the discourse and practices within the field of violence against women, children and men.
