2004 Conference
Awards were given to Don Miller, Alison Smith and Leslie Bennewith
for acting with courage to save a woman who was being attacked by her

thinking and bravery of these three people. A posthumous award was also
given to Tony McNaughton. It was accepted by his partner, Allen Sawkins, who
spoke passionately to the conference delegates about the loss of his partner
